Mixed media art piece inspired by Norway.
I created this piece for a show in which every artist was assigned a country to inspire the art. I was assigned Norway, and decided to mashup two of my favorite Nordic bands: Darkthrone and a-ha.
For the visual elements of this composition, I was inspired by the video from a-ha’s hit song Take on Me, imagery from Darkthrone’s album art, and that cute photo of Fenriz and his cat.
